The Super Puppy Class for puppies 3 to 8 months of age covers obedience, good manners, and discipline as well as socializing and puppy games.  We also introduce them to Agility and exercises that enhance your puppy's physical and mental development. Our Puppy Classes are also proud to be part of the new AKC  S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. STAR is an acronym for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility. The program is designed to get puppies and their owners off to a good start. For more information on this new program go to www.akc.org/starpuppy/

Dog Agility helps your dog become physically fit, confident, responsive to your commands, and well coordinated while having lots of fun at the same time. Our agility classes are both for fun, and for people wanting to continue to the highest levels of competition. Check out our Agility Champions in the Agility Cool Critters page.

Located at 3136 Oak Tree Place, in Valrico, we offer Dog Agility classes for all levels: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Masters. Basic Agility teaches the dog to negotiate all the equipment safely. In the Intermediate, Advanced, and Masters classes you will learn to be a better handler. We teach AKC, USDAA,  NADAC, and CPE  agility.

Obedience and Rally Classes are conducted in a 60' X 30' Pavilion

The Cool Critters Agility group sponsors three NADAC trials a year (in the Spring and Fall), two at the Mosaic Arena in the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto, Florida. Our third NADAC trial is a Games trial which we hold at our school facility. We also host a USDAA trial with a Dog Agility Masters tournament also at the Mosaic Arena in Palmetto. For February 2010, we are planning a TDAA (Teacup Dog Agility) in our school facility as well.
    We
are charter members of DACOF (Dog Agility Competition of Florida).  We send three teams to the annual competition. In the first competition which took place in June 2001, our Cool Team placed third and the Critter Team placed fourth. We were the only organization in the state that finished with its two teams in the top five. In the second tournament which took place in June 2002, our Critter Team took home the second place. In DACOF 2006, the Cool Team took home the third place trophies. In this year's competition, DACOF 2008,  the Cool Team placed fifth, and the Critter Team placed seventh. We are very proud of all our students!
